Tips for your offer

The idea behind the campaign is to direct new customers to your venues by offering special offers. We will run two campaigns, each running four weeks using Bluetooth to inform people of our campaign.

We need you to provide us with details of your offers for the duration of the campaign.

Good ideas suggest repeat business such as 10% off food, two-for-one entry, queue-jump, VIP entry etc. It is up to you what offer you think would best support your business and attract new customers.

Offers cannot be alcohol-related as this goes against the ethos of Best Bar None. The only alcohol-related offer we will support is one free drink (beer or wine) with a meal as this supports the draft alcohol strategy for the city.

Bluetooth is a form of viral marketing which means that people can forward vouchers to other phones. This increases the number of people aware of the scheme and using the evouchers but could have a negative impact if the offer is not sensibly planned out. Such as a cup of free coffee, technically someone could use the offer every day for a fourweek period without ever purchasing anything from you. Its much better to use money-off as people need to purchase from you to get the offer.
