The Best Bar None awards promotes Newcastle as a leading nightlife city by formally recognising and rewarding the responsible licensed premises who are genuinely striving to reduce alcohol related disorder and promote responsible drinking.

We would be delighted if you would like to attend the award ceremony, an enjoyable evening event to celebrate the winners of 2010’s Best Bar None. A great night for managers and staff to celebrate the hard work put into making Newcastle one of the leading nightlife cities in Europe.

What’s on?
This year we have an exciting line-up of entertainment, including stand-up comedy legend, Brendan Healey, North Tyneside Steel Band, as well as enjoyable fundraising for Metro Radio’s Just for Kids. And let’s not forget the sensational award ceremony. Who will win Best Pub, Best Local Pub, Best Bar, Best Club and who will be crowned the Overall Winner?

All this wrapped up in a glitzy backdrop with a fantastic selection of food and set within the grand Banqueting Suite at the Civic Centre. Good times.

The event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is good with Newcastle’s nightlife and to network with pubs and bar managers and build working relations in a less formal environment.

If you are paying by cash, please pay in person at the Civic Centre (you can pay you your cheque this way too). Come to the Registrars Entrance (opposite Luckies Bar) at the Civic Centre and ask for Safe Newcastle, regarding Best Bar None. A member of staff will come and see you to take payment, arrange your tickets and issue a receipt.
